In an effort to determine a soft ROI for learning, SkillSoft reviewed best practices across organisations and referenced thought leaders on learning and learning measurement such as Kirkpatrick, Phillips, Naughton, Bersin, Masie and Brinkerhoff. We used this analysis to create a simple assessment and calculator to illustrate the estimated cost displacement and productivity impact of learning programs without the due diligence required of an exhaustive analysis.

Kieran has years of experience working for private companies to build curriculums, implement LMS systems, conduct needs analyses, and analyse ROI. In 1999, Kieran joined CBT Systems (was SmartForce, now SkillSoft) and participated in the evolution of the learning industry by consulting with various Fortune 500 organisations as they made the transition from the classroom to blended models. During her career, Kieran has contributed to many industry white papers and received multiple awards and professional honours. Today, Kieran serves as the Global Director of Client Loyalty for SkillSoft.

Tim considers himself a life-long learner and teacher and has travelled extensively and lived in France for three years. He came to SkillSoft after 11 years in Product Marketing and other positions with Transparent Language, Inc., a leading provider of computer aided language-learning (CALL) solutions to consumer, corporate, educational, and government customers. He has a degree in Political Science from Williams College.

Presenter Bio: Pam Boiros joined Books24x7 in 2000, and is currently responsible for the product and content strategy for the Books24x7 product line. Pam has worked to develop new collections, including international language products, as well as new site features designed to enhance the user experience of the Books24x7's On Demand Platform. She is passionate about emerging technologies such as mobile devices and social networking, and the impact such innovations can have on the learning experience, and for the last year has worked closely on the development and launch of SkillSoft's inGenius social networking feature set. Prior to joining Books24x7, Pam's career experience was in the book publishing industry and she is an avid reader and literacy advocate. Pam is based in Boston, USA.

Dennis is now focusing his vast expertise in establishing SkillSoft’s worldwide presence in the Business and Professional Management computer-based training industry, offering over 20 years of expertise in the sales and international marketing arenas.
Prior to SkillSoft, Dennis was with NETg as the Senior Director of Product Development running their Video Studio until it closed. Dennis has held positions as International Product Marketing Manager for Sterling Software and International Marketing Manager for Pansophic Systems. He has also owned and run his own Video Production company.
