SYDNEY, Australia (3 June 2008) - SkillSoft Asia Pacific (SkillSoft) today announced the introduction of its world-class enterprise e-learning solutions to China, through the appointment of Beijing-based Ambow Education Group (Ambow) as its exclusive distributor to China's enterprise and government markets.

SkillSoft Asia Pacific - a division of SkillSoft PLC (Nasdaq: SKIL) - is a global leading provider of e-learning and performance support solutions for enterprises and governments. Ambow Education Group is one of the largest e-learning services provider based in Beijing, China.

Under the agreement, SkillSoft and Ambow will partner to represent and offer SkillSoft's e-learning solutions and resources. This multi-million dollar partnership over several years will provide Chinese enterprises and governments with localised content and structure in Simplified Chinese, local support, and access to SkillSoft's popular curriculum. Solutions to be offered under this partnership include SkillSoft's award-winning IT Courseware Library, Business Skills Course Collection, KnowledgeCenters and Environmental Safety & Health Course Collection. These solutions were lauded by the popular Elearning! Magazine as being "best-in-class".
